The Trustees of Leadhills Estate have agreed with RWE Innogy to investigate a potential renewable project on the Lowther Hills, South Lanarkshire, directly north of the village of Leadhills.  The project is to be called Harryburn Wind Farm.

Leadhills Estate is committed to ensuring that the community is fully consulted throughout this process and RWE Innogy is currently in the process of planning a framework for consultation with various stakeholders, including Community Council Groups.
