Leadhills Miners Library Funding Boost

We were delighted to hear about the recent funding received by the Leadhills Miners Library. As Britain’s oldest subscription library it attracts a number of visitors each year and has been in the heart of the Leadhills community since 1741.

The new funding has come from the National Lottery and the Wind-farm Community Fund and will used for building repairs and improvements during March and April before the library reopens to the public in May 2015.
